Hello,
I'm trying to use the freq_xlating filter to select a narrowband portion of
a wideband signal, but I'm a bit confused as to exactly how much I'm
changing the center frequency of the filter from the baseband value. Could
someone break it down for me please: here is where i create the filte

The trouble is occuring during the installation of wxPython. I know this is
"just" a GUI environment, but I'd still like to get it working. I get to step 6
of http://gnuradio.org/trac/wiki/wxPythonCygwin, and the make fails,
complaining about the fact that the file

The .pth file really does work. The pkgutils.extend_path solution
should work. Apparently zope and other python projects of large size
have had to face the fact that a single module (gnuradio) might appear
with pieces in multiple directories (such as

Eric,
I'm working with Don Ward to edit that wiki page. One of my starting points

In that readme file, he says:

Hi Luca,
Did you compile and install the block? If not, did you follow this howto:
http://www.gnu.org/software/gnuradio/doc/howto-write-a-block.html

Hi,
I am new to DSP, so I am finding it a little difficult to understand
exactly whats going on in the usrp_spectrum_sense.py code. When I
print out m.data[0], m.data[1] along with m.center_freq, this is what
I get:
./usrp_spectrum_sense.py 2412M 2444M
