I found the permissions error in my strace when i run
the 'test_usrp_standard_tx'. Similar error was
previously observed by Larry, but I am not sure if
this was solved. I don't have the usbtest loaded.
Also, i observe that when i run any code the first

1: Software does not cause RF interference (of the magnitude that
disrupts my neighbor's television... yes, I've seen the
video-card-as-AM-broadcast demos too...) It takes some hardware to cause
noticeable interference
