Matt
While playing with "test_usrp_standard_tx[rx].cc"
setting
"-c" flag, I was expecting the folloing:
xx x
xx x
xx x
xx x
xx x ..
But its not what I am getting.
If I change the code that deal with the "counting
flag" as:
Eric and I would like to work on making GNU Radio work with Icom's
D-Stars radios. The only problem is that all of the specs are in
Japanese. If there is anyone who can translate for us, please let me know.
Thanks,
Matt

The USRP user guide states that there is 20 db of gain on the USRP. Assuming
that this is on the Receive path Programmable Gain Amplifier on the MxFE, can
this be used as an AGC? I want to control the strength of the signal received.
The way to do this, I think, would be to dynamically alter the

The upcoming dbsrx board will mate well with the DSS
feedhorn/downconverter assemblies, which cover various bands from 9 to
15 GHz.

Does the powermate show up when you use usbview or lsusb?

Based on your question I think I may be asking a dumb question because I
don't have any powermate hardware. I assumed that powermate.py was just
another graphical control widget, but it sounds like its just a display for
what the actual piece of hardware is doing. Is that right?

Sure, its FC3 and then I ran up2date and mostly followed the instructions
and ran the scripts from the KD7LMO website.
I'll try your link -Thanks

Clark,
There's a couple of tricks to get it to work. Can you tell us a little
more info about your linux config? I have it setup to run with udev
which is a little bit harder to get working than if you don't.
Here's a good web page that describes this process:

Hi Matt,
We have installed the USRP and GNU-radio on our machine.
Please find the errors which we are getting while running
the USRP Examples, we shall call you in the morning time, please help us with
in resolving the following errors while running the gnu-radio examples on
I'm not able to get the powermate.py file to run at all. I've tried
recompiling wxpython and gr-wxgui. All the other modules gr-wxgui/src/python
work fine but when I run powermate.py I get:
"Unable to fund PowerMate or Contour Shuttle"
I think most everything else is installed okay. I can run
