This is not the usual 802.1x

I don't know a reason to implement this in Open vSwitch rather than in an
OpenFlow controller. Do you?

Hi,
First post and was wondering
Hello Ed,
I don't have an answer to your question, but was wondering if it is possible
to actually implement the Authenticator via an Openflow controller using
standard OpenFlow rules? I'd be very interested to know if this is
possible or if anyone has tried this.
Regards,
Paul

Hi,
First post and was wondering if there is a timeline / roadmap for the inclusion
of an 802.1x authenticator role in openvswitch.
Thanks - Ed
