Just to finish this topic,
It should be fixed with this commit:
http://openvswitch.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=openvswitch;a=commit;h=eafed69b66fa5b7b69035fe5aa2ae2102d66d6f6
A huge thank you to Ethan Jackson and Ben Pfaff for fixing this issue!! :D
Kind regards,

Hi,
I'm experiencing some unexpected behavior from the flow counters when using
wildcarded flow entries (with OpenFlow).
Steps to reproduce:
- Start a udp flow ex. 10.1.4.1=>10.1.6.1
- Install wildcarded entry 10.1.4.0/30 => 10.1.6.0/30
==>After some time counters (ovs-ofctl dump-flows) indicate

I checked it multiple times and it seems to be 2.5-2.6s on average
openvswitch is polled for its counters using the openflow protocol
Is this interval determined by openvswitch or by the linux kernel?
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm polling the port the stat counters of openvswitch (with kernel module)
and noticed that they are only updated about every 2.5s.
Is this normal behavior? Is there any way to change this (make it update
more often)?
Thanks in advance!

Can you give me a clue?
Thank you in advance,

Hi,
I'm using ovs with openflow and have noticed that flow stats seem to update
about every second.
So first question: Is this correct?
Is it possible to have it update more often? (command line arg, or does it
have to be changed in the source) I suppose this will imply heavier load
(more commun
Ok!
Thank you for your help!

Just to clarify the 16 packets: I didn't run any performance tests after
the reboot, only ping
What are the possible values for datapath_type? Can't seem to find more
information about that option...

Hi,
I'm running ovs on Ubuntu 11.04 and noticed that it can process max.
200Mbps (NIC's are gigabit).
It's used as an openflow switch with POX as controller and about 10 flows
are installed. ovs is running with kernel module. The CPU is a quadcore
Intel Xeon running at 2.2Ghz and one of the cores
