Hi,
When a flow is added using learned action, does it stay in a given table
indefinitely or is it removed after some time.

n this case is going
to out both gre tunnels.
Thanks

Hi,
I understand that ARP reply is a unicast packet, but ovs is flooding the it to
all GRE tunnels. Is this normal?
Thanks

However, the VMs connected to the bridge can communicate to each other just
fine.

Hello,
I setup a GRE tunnel (connected to switchport 4) and put a noflood option
to prevent broadcast storms as below
ovs-ofctl mod-port test-br 4 noflood
But I need the broadcasts from VMs to be forwarded over the GRE tunnel so I
put the following command
ovs-ofctl add-flow test-br 'priority=1
Thanks, so what if host NIC is 10gig, does that mean virtual switchport will
try to push data at 10 Gig speed even if the VM virtual NIC driver is some 1
gig model?

Hello folks,
How does openvswitch determines port speed, I noticed that my VM's NIC was
gigabit speeds but ovs port connected to the VM was settling on 100/full.
I also noticed the physical NIC in that same bridge was also settling on
100/full. Does that mean speeds or only determined by the p
Shetty.

Hi,
How many bridges can a openvswitch have. Is there a hard limit.

Thank you Ben,
So do I need to use ovs-ofctl command to setup the flow
Is there a good tutorial about flows you can point me to as I have not worked
with it before

Please let me know what is the correct way if any or my assumptions are
