Hello,
Yes, SLE12 & openSUSE fully supports OVS.
You can try openSUSE 2.3.90 OVS package from our repo -

Hi,
what hypervisor do you use?
There are kernel patches like
http://openvswitch.org/pipermail/dev/2013-December/035568.html[1] ,
http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/324986/[2]
that improve VLAN tag handling inside VM.

Hi, Justin,I used OVS 1.9.3. But
Vasiliy,
i think you can use branch-2.1, release of 2.1 will be in the end
of March (as Justin said before).

Can you help to make a correct fixes?

Ben,
thanks, but my C skills is not so good to do this.
OVS way of bonding management is much more flexible than using OS-
dependent syntax of configuring in-kernel bonding driver.

This is because OVS bond port is not the endpoint port (as in linux bonding)
and we must apply flows to all bond interfaces leads to redundant flows
(overhead for 4-port LACP is 3/4).
Do you have plans to get OVS bond working as single port with flows on it or we
should use the linux bond?

Current 3.10 have many xen-related improvements, it
will be really nice to use them.

As i see, VLAN offloading is partially implemented in OVS and didn't
implemented in Xen means VLAN tagged traffic inside VM will make
additional latency.
Can anyone have info ab

Any suggestions?

After many hours of problem solving i switched to VXLAN version of OVS and use
vxlan tunnel but result stays the same.
I think problem is in initial tunnel creation.
Can anyone had this issue?
Thanks.

Hello,
we are interested in OVS RDMA integration 'cos we use GRE over IPoIB for VM &
hypervisors interconnect. Right now performance is not good as it might be
using native RDMA.
If you start to implement RDMA, i help you with testing.
