Hi,
I'm attempting to test a workload over OVS.
Currently I can run the workload without OVS, with the following network
configuration:
Host1:
eth1.1000 (192.168.0.10) => eth1
Host2:
eth1.1000 (192.168.0.20) => eth1
Both hosts have an interface configured to perform VLAN tagging. From host1
this? It looks like the ONP
guide talks about using DPDK 1.8, but 2.0 is required for this? If I enable
OVS_DPDK_RTE_LIBRTE_VHOST=y
Will the correct version of DPDK be downloaded and compiled.
What is required, is it just the setup of hugepages ?

Hi,
I've been running some load tests on Openstack Kilo with CentOS 7.1 and OVS
2.3.1.
The out of the box performance seems to be poor, I can only manage around 21000
TPS (web requests).
That equates to roughty
239309.20 txpck/s or 276117.34 txkB/s
This post indicates that with OVS >
does this allow me to configure ports and
bridges on all vswitches from the management node?
