I'd like to configure OVS using OpenFlow+Nicira extensions to push two VLAN
tags, to load-balance at higher levels of a multi-rooted tree on physical
switches that only support OpenFlow 1.0 in firmware and so don't support
ECMP. Double-stacked VLANs aren't strictly necessary; double IP-in-IP or

Hi,
I'd like to build Debian packages for OVS that work with a custom kernel. I
see that these are built already for stock Ubuntu kernels at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openvswitch and for Ubuntu natty at
http://openvswitch.org/releases/binaries/1.2.2.10448/natty_amd64/

I experienced a bug with veth pairs and OVS v1.0.1, spent a few hours making
a replicatable bug report, but then tried the master branch and the bug went

Out of curiosity, when is the next stable release expected, and is there any
pattern to the OVS release cycle?
Thanks,
Brandon

I had some trouble configuring and building OVS with a custom 2.6.33 kernel.
Ugly workaround patch below, which should really use a greater-than
comparison in Makefile.main.in. Somewhere after 2.6.29 autconf.h moved
from include/linux to /include/generated.
The patch descends from commit 973eab3
