Hi Jesse,
Now I changed eth0 MTU on guest to 1400 and eth0/br0 MTU on host back to 1500.
Both guest and host eth0 are with TSO and GSO on.
With iperf TCP test I can see large packets (64k) on vnet interface, and on br0
packets are already fragmented to 14xx according to guest's MTU (plus GRE

Asking this question multiple times won't change the answer.

Hi Ben
I need to know which openvswitch version may support openflow 1.3.
Can you help regarding this?
It is really important for me.

Hi Ben
Sorry for the interruption .
Can OVS2.0 support full fletch openflow 1.3?
If no,Please give a hope when we can expect the support for OF1.3.2.
Thanks

punix should be unix here.

Hi,
OVS version 2.0
Whenever we try to issue a command to set the controller after running
ovs-vswitchd, the command of vsctl is getting hanged. After that if we try
control C to exit the vsctl, db.sock file is getting deleted from the path.
Is it a known issue?
Please find the commands for r

I guess a kernel space OVS instance is already running on your system. To
completely remove OVS from a linux system use the following commands:
kill `cd /usr/local/var/run/openvswitch && cat ovsdb-server.pid
ovs-vswitchd.pid`
rmmod openvswitch
rm -rf /usr/local/etc/openvswitch
rm -rf /usr/local/va
you will find a file OPENFLOW-1.1+ in Openvswitch-1.11.0 directory for the

Is it possible to centralize one OVSDB for multiple ovs-vswitchd
running on different systems? If so, how would ovs-vsctl know which
system to go to?
Thanks,
Greg

I submitted the patch to ovs-dev.

It's hard to say, I would run tcpdump on each interface in the path
and make sure that the packet is being fragmented at the place that
you expect.

Hi,
I want to access and modify data packets that pass openvswitches based on
certain rules.
Rather than current tables in openvswitch, I want to create a new table
where rules are saved.
Also, a controller sends the rules to openvswitches.
Related to this, can I create and access a user-created

By default, OVS is running as inband-control mode. In that mode, OVS will
have some extra flow table entries to allow the controller to communicate
over the inband connection.

You don't need to resubmit it, but it would save me a small amount of
time if you did.
I have not been reviewing or applying patches for a few days because I
am working on a research paper. The paper deadline is Wednesday
night, so you can expect me to resume more normal work the following
day.
You could try this:
(1) install hsflowd from host-sflow.sf.net
(2) edit /etc/hsflowd.conf to turn off DNS-SD and configure the collector(s)
(3) start both hsflowd and sflowovsd
Assuming that works (please tell me if it doesn't), you can look at
the source code to sflowovsd, or just turn up it's

Hi,
What are hidden flows in OVS?
How to delete or modify the hidden flows?
Are hidden flows present only in OVS or any other open flow switch can also
have hidden flows ?
