See the mac table first . Do you find an entry for .198 there ? I think you
won't until you add eth0 to port.

Hi Jesse,
I think 2.6.32-358.18.1 Kernel version is latest with RHEL/Centos.
So it has almost all patches from upstream...
If anyone has really try Vlan with upstream OVS kernel module
(openvswitch.ko) ?
If Vlan not works then its really serious problem with upstream OVS in
Linux Kernel.
Thanks
Hi,
I'm trying to connect two LXC hosts, h00 and h10 with Open vSwitch (one bridge)
on Debian (testing) and I can't have them communicate unless I reset the
controller setting of the bridge.
Here's what I have configured (you can ignore br1):
root@debtest# ovs-vsctl show

Old kernels have known problems with vlans, so you might have to use
the vlan splinters feature as a work around.

Hi Jesse,
With Kernel Version 2.6.32-358.18.1, CentOS6.3/6.4 has upstream OVS kernel
module.
Please the attach logs of my previous mail.
Also see the attach lsmod log for host in this mail (you can see
openvswitch module in it).
Thanks & Regards

Hello All,
I am trying to implement an algorithm inside the OVS.
Firstly, I am trying to insert my own table inside and change the priority
of the pipe-lining so that the packet first gets processed by my custom
table and then I can use the goto instruction to process the packet in the

Hi All
I want to establish a SSL connection between the ovs switch and floodlight
controller.
I am using the following command .
ovs-vsctl set controller br0 ssl:192.168.5.68:6633
But when i am using ovs-vsctl show , then it is not showing that the
controller is connected to the switch.
