I do have moderator on Server Fault, however I don't participate much.
Forgive me for asking perhaps a loaded question, but isn't devops already
in-scope for stackoverflow.com and serverfault.com?

I've already delivered some Q&A this year for some kids in the Philadelphia
school district; I'd be happy to have a look at your presentation and
present it to interested schools. It seems like schools get the most
interest in technology around the "Hour of Code" events.

So, I skipped LISA this past year thinking that I'd just catch up with
everyone at LOPSA-East in May, but the recent lopsagram has announced that
lopsa-east isn't happening this year.

Hello list,
Well, I've been an IT Director for about half a year now. In this time I
have learned quite a bit more about what it takes to be a manager and the
amount of self discipline it requires to keep all of the pieces on the
chessboard moving safely.
After 6 months, my self evaluation is I
Hello List!
Our business office is really interested in finding ways to reduce the
number of passwords our salespeople need to keep track of. To that end,
we're investigating some SSO apps that will help us keep everything keyed
off of our Active Directory setup.

Thanks for that, unfortunately I'm not arriving until Wednesday. Maybe

I missed details on the keysigning BoF. Can I get details or a link to

Hello all,
First off, I'm sorry if this is off-topic for discuss, I haven't seen a lot
of posts regarding employment on this mailing list. Feel free to give me
the lash off-list.
I have a close friend who has been working for a large company in

Hello list,
I'm a heavily seasoned Asterisk admin, having maintained it at three
separate workplaces now. I've run into a problem with some Polycom VVX

doesn't exist) and the phone fails to transfer. It happens intermittently

Just to add to this, I can say that internally our community team is
excited to see the commitment put forth on this proposal. It's possibly
the fastest we've seen a proposal go to commitment organically, thanks
mostly to Jeremy Stretch's cheerleading.

One thing to keep in mind as well is that using multiple vcpus in a vm
environment can actually decrease performance for all your VMs on the same
host. If I weren't typing on a smartphone I would provide more detail on
why this happens. I will try to elaborate in a bit.
