We just moved from our former office using a 10. domain to a 9. domain.
In short the issue is that I want to be able to enable some hosts to be
able to access some files and directories as root. The files are mounted
from a Netgear ReadyNAS 3100.

First of all, I'm going to give the generic response that I give
whenever a networking problem occurs. Run tcpdump, ethereal,
whatever, on one
