Great! Thanks for the advice! I wanted to attend Linux Con last year, but
didn't for whatever reason. This year the conference is in Vancouver :(

I went to their Linuxcon conference this summer and learned useful
things, so that's worth something. They seem to put their conference
proceedings online, for free.
