I use Dia on windows and it is simply brilliant. Thank you!
The currently available Dia for Mac OS X (Mountain Lion) seems to be a 32
bit only. Would it be reasonable to make a 64 bit version available (on
Intel architecture) as well please?

The X11 (XQuartz) installation. This was the puzzle piece required. Thanks

The Gate keeper was one of the original steps taken and did not see it as
an issue, and neither saw that it added anything worth including in the mix.
