Me too ;-) May I suggest to at least slowdown (preview|bugfix) releases
enough that there is some more time to find, report and fix bugs?
You mean three months isn't enough? Either we're just

Dear List!
Today I downloaded the 0.96-pre9 for Windows. Installation worked fine on WinXP
SP2 german. But I discovered a reproducible crash:
- Place a shape that can contain text on a new diagram
- Enter one line of text
- Move the cursor to the beginning of this line of text
- Press Enter

I'm using dia to generate block diagrams. There is one feature I
dearly miss in dia:
entering objects with text is very unfriendly.
Let me explain:
I want to create a box and put a text in it. Adding a text to the box
is great, but now I want those two to live together, group them you

I downloaded version 0.96 using the link below
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/dia/0.96/dia-0.96.tar.bz2
I'm able to run configure, with out errors, using
./configure --prefix=/sw
I used the /sw prefix since I have a Fink installation.
Unfortunately the make failed with
Dear List!
Again on 0.96(pre-9), which doesn't seem to really differ from the just
released final. Windows XP SP2 german. With 0.96-pre9 I tried to export some
diagrams created with 0.95-1 to EPS - Ghostscript and Irfanview (does it rely
on gs?) are unable to display the files due to an error.

Hi all,
I've developped a small Mediawiki extension for dealing with Dia file.
That is to say, it allows a user to upload a Dia file and integrate it
into a mediawiki page. When viewing the page, the dia file is
automatically converted to png for viewing.
It already works quite well. However i
