first of all, congratulation for the app,
Don't you think it can be useful and require not too much work to add
borders on a exported image because when I export one the draw takes all
of the canvas and it is not great when you have a box on the top and you
can't see if that box has a top

once again, a dumb beginner question, and nothing of importance.
I added a layer in a diag, in order to place some nifty "backgrounds"
colors on a layer, and the real objects on a separate layer. so far so good.
Except : I'd like that anytime I open that .dia file, the objetcs layer

I think your program is awesome - i particularly like the navigation tool.
the only thing is, it has one INCREDIBLY annoying trait (fatal, for
me): each individulal diag you save doesn't remember the last viewing
preferences (nor can u save application-wide ones, it seems).
I dont like seeing the
correction: it seems you can get rid of the lines but the ruler and
moving arrows still will appear every time, and have to be unclicked
every time. so irritating!

I'd just like to share something I find annyoing with Dia. When I paste
objects (using Ctrl-v), they appear somewhere up at the top left of my
diagram. This usually results in me having to move the mouse a long
distance in order to get the insert object to where it should be. Other
