In Makefile.am
SUBDIRS contains 'intl' but /intl is empty
What is the right way to compile dia?

Well, here they are, 30 shapes for cybernetic diagrams. Somebody on this
list me, to mail them here ... I hope that's ok.

I got dia compile after fiddling a bit around with my system, but on
startup I get several warnings, that objects could not be loaded:

It would be nice if the user could choose between straight and bending
arrow style when selecting UML dependencies, realizations, associations,
and aggregations, in the same way as it is done with the
"Create a message" button.

Is there a way to render an active class in dia? These look the same as
regular classes with a thicker border and are used to model classes whose
objects consist of several processes or threads.

The Object shape has an active option, b
Did you try to run
app/run_dia.sh
from the folder where you compiled dia?
