Looked at bugzilla briefly yesterday but it wasn't clear if it was actively
being utilized.
I'll confirm the arrow key bug - kinda. The arrow keys actually do move
you, but the cursor doesn't move. (e.g. - type "" into a text object,
back arrow twice, type "b" and you end up with "aabaa" alth

I looked for these snapshots on http://www.lysator.liu.se/~alla/dia/dia.html
and could not find them. My system is not bleeding-edge so I cannot run
autogen.sh since after 88.1. Could you give me a pointer to the snapshots?

i do not have libxml1 (binary or -devel packages) that i know of. i read
through the NEWS file but that doesn't say much about installation
problems (unless i missed something -which happens from time to time).
there were no errors from tunning ./configure

xml-config is missing, because I installed libxml2 :-(
Now, have I to uninstall this version and go to an old one or is there
