Temporarily I fixed font i18n issue by using gettext. but
the users may has no that font, or may wants to change that
font.
so I propose those fonts is changed on preferences
dialog. but I noticed a problem. right now Dia has several
hardcoded font name. if we make a default font item on

What about reading documentation ?
Try File/Export and find a file format which M$ Word is capable
to read in. Like WMF, WPG, PNG, etc.

Can you give any more details on why you want to do this/what can't be done
with the current code?
AFAIR the autogenerated preferences dialog is very simple to add extra items
to. I would like to see it stay
