Has anyone created any custom shapes for floor plans?

someday = when someone implements it. AFAIK, no one has announced such a
project yet.

As soon as somebody sits down and makes it. If you can point us at a
definition, any of us can do so. Most shapes are made on a by-need basis.

The graphviz package, "dot" program does graph layout from a graph
description given in a simple text format.
It outputs a couple formats (not XML though). Has anyone written
anything to transform the formats used by DIA and graphviz?

Dot supports SVG (which is an XML language) as an output format,
you might be able to use this directly with dia? Dot's SVG output is
already compatible with sodipodi.
