* As reported here recently, dia 0.88.1 can't resize shapes with
internal text (other than by editting the text). My example is the
'cloud' from the network sheet, which only sizes to fit the enclosing
text. Bit hard to dr

We are working on new Shapes code called UrShapes that will make it
easier in the future to create interactive shapes. One of my goals with
this project is to create new UML shapes that are easier to work with
and allow for scripts to manipulate shapes. Once finished it will be
easy for someone
I'd like to be able to draw molecules in Dia, mostly because the de facto
standard, Cambridge(no relation)Soft's ChemDraw, is absolutely awful.
As far as I can see it would only require a couple of extensions:
- a triangular grid option (most important!)
- text with bounding box (for my purposes

recently i upgraded dia to 0.88.1 and i was pleased.
however, i noticed that the cloud symbol from the "Network"
symbols section does not scale as freely as it did
in earlier versions. as far as i have learned, it will
only scale if you enter some text.
i like to place symbols within the cloud,
Hello everyone,
I have put together a little web site that I hope will be useful to
people who'd like Dia to be a good data modelling tool. I've collected
the links to known dia<->sql projects, and described the current state
of things.
I would be grateful for any advice and/or comments. Most

John,
