I don't know really. But were I curious I would compare headers and body
between the Dia dxf and one that works correctly. Like one generated by
AutoCAD 2016. You might learn something from that. Draw a box in Acad and a
box in Dia export as dxf and take a peek.

I'm trying to export a dxf file from Dia and import into AutoCad 2016. I can
create a simple drawing with one line and export. I still receive the same
message when trying to import into AutoCad. I receive the error "Table name
missing on line 26". Does anyone know how to resolve this is
