This is not really a formal proposal - its far too wild and crazy for
that. I have been struggling with visio (who doesn't ?) and find dia much
easier to use. However, even dia has some serious usability problems when
compared to a tool I have used before: Edge Diagrammer from PaceStar.
I just started using Dia-and I immediately saw an area that could be
improved.
I was looking at the samples. I opened a sample by navigating to that
folder-I looked at it and closed. When I tried to open another sample
diagram, I had to navigate to the correct folder again. You should
