Hi all
And thanks for the information. Just to clarify I am using a language other
than C, so the way I "inspire" by code is I study it and write my own
code. I'd be more than happy to release my code knowing that how much I owe
to Dia but just I can not because of the proprietary code I am using.
For what it's worth Dia format is already used in other contexts (I
believe phpMyAdmin has it as an export format)
Similarly I'm not a lawyer but as long as your not using any Dia code I
don't see the XML format itself being a problem, after all XML is an
open system and you are simply parsing it

I'd like to use the specific xml format of Dia in my application to store
diagrams. Because of the non GNU code I am using, I decided to write my own
code similar to Dia which is greatly inspired by it (but not copied). My
question is if I use the xml format, will I have a licencing problem. Is
sorry for bad english T_T)

Hello!

"to" is a code shape , this link connects to
"connection" is used to discribe connection point this link is connects to
there are 2 dia:connections tags for Association element or other like it.
Now about connction-attribute code. I know about UmlClass shape, but

Hi,
Today I begin to write code to convert a Dia schema based uppon Database and
References to SQL.
For the moment it work perfectly with tables and attributes of tables (fields
names and types) when parsing all Database - Table objects.
Now I would like to get all the foreign keys, so I try to

Does Dia not have bezier splines?
It does, but they use a different model than graphviz does, and my
experience has been that the conversion is suboptimal.
