There would probably be more users creating custom sheets and custom symbols if the process were more intuitive, or documentation were embedded as a pop-up within dia itself. Question...is it a good idea to have embedded sheets and symbols in dia...or should they all be added in the user's hom

I too would like to vote in favor of having both a "Favorites" sheet and the ability to make custom sheet, and to customize generic sheets. My use includes "Electronics" which is made up from Circuit and Circuit-2 sheet elements, "Hydraulics" which is 100% my own elements, "Mechanical" which is m

While I do like the idea of a "Favorites" sheet, I do occasionally make custom sheets. Usually a mix of shapes from the standard sheetes, but also some new shapes and even 100% custom. As for customizing standard sheets, there are times when a sheet that's just a subset of a standard sheet is very

+1 vote for favorites sheet from me too. Why mixing shapes from different sheets? If you use the diagram for generating code or other tasks (not only for drawing), can be very useful not having to switch from sheet to sheet. In same diagram you can have a network schema and a little class that wil

To make it short, I think it would be more useful for 99% of users to move to a fast bookmarking system (like right click> Add to favorites with a "Custom" sheet) instead of customizing system sheets. I think manipulating system sheets is just not useful: what is the point of putting UML shapes
