I don't know really. But were I curious I would compare headers and body
between the Dia dxf and one that works correctly. Like one generated by
AutoCAD 2016. You might learn something from that. Draw a box in Acad and a
box in Dia export as dxf and take a peek.

You can make a Dia any size at all, draw a box around it of any size And
print it any size. I have arrayed business card art on letter size card
stock the cut after printing. I think the capability is already in Dia,
just no preset paper size.

You can take your Dia into Inkscape which can apply transparency. Inkscape
is another very nice open source program that is often used in conjunction
with Dia.

There are only 8 possible connection points on any box (ex. Class). This is
practically not usable.
If there are two or three boxes to be connected on one side of the other
box the connection points overlap. And you cant see Whether it's aggregate,
association or even cardinality (1..1, 1..n).

I'm trying to export a dxf file from Dia and import into AutoCad 2016. I can
create a simple drawing with one line and export. I still receive the same
message when trying to import into AutoCad. I receive the error "Table name
