I could not stand the thought of Dia having only 8 connection points per
UML Class again once the next version came out.
But then, I didn't want to delve into strange code, and try to give an
arbitrary number of connection points to UML Classes.
So I just coded it up so the original 8 connection

I commonly get "connection refused" errors from the Dia homepage.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Is this a known problem? I seem to regularly get this problem from

I've been frustrated by not being able to build the CVS version
with the tools I have installed. I know I need to downgrade to
the versions specified in the INSTALL file but that doesn't work
very well for me.
I hacked on it and researched it a bit to see what the issues are.
I was able to get
Hello, lists,
As promised, I've kept quiet for a few days about my hectic release
schedule for this tool. But some significant functionality has been
added... so here it is.
tedia2sql is a GPL'd Perl script that turns Dia UML diagrams into SQL DDL.
Homepage is at http://tedia2sql.tigris.org.

Hm, I did `apt-get install xfig` on Debian unstable (yes,
I'm one of the crazy/heroic people running unstable). This
installs /usr/share/xfig/Libraries/ in fig forma

Present program (july 7, 2002) "classifies" shapes and objects
as "System Sheet" or
"User Sheet" ia a strange way.
After looking at the code, I beleive the problem is a
misleading comparison of an enum variable "som->type" with values
of a different enum type. The possible types of som->typ

OK, not sure how to fix this right now. If no-one else fixes

I've found a suspected bug, and would like to see if others can
recreate it. If so, I'll file it in bugzilla.
Use dia CVS (I'm using one as of 2002-07-17). Turn off the
'reset tools on create' option in Preferences. Select any tool
from any sheet. Click once on the diagram to create an object.

Yes, you do need a "wierd" add on. It's called "Multidesk" -- I

Yes;
Hi,
I was trying to use the Dia EPS export and replace text in it with the
psfrag package (for LaTeX). Unfortunately, this didn't work, since the
exported EPS file apparently includes the text in a different way than
just as normal text. So, my procedure now is to export it to .fig and
run fig2de

Windows does not have the concept of a "Window manager". You probably
need to stick to some weird addon to group windows.
