Yes agree, that is already on the roadmap (2.24 or 2.25):

It might seem very superficial, but I think the ability to select colors is
actually important - just as it is for Legends in GIS (in fact, it would be
nice to be able to apply the legend colors to charts as well).

Hi Olav,
yes this sounds sensible.

On the plan for 2.2
Let me chip in here:
- finding a way around the "Indicators cannot be specified as filter." issue.
Then a few things which I understand is difficult with the current chart
framework, but that would still be nice to have some day…:
- more flexibility in the "layout", e.g. two axis with different s
Yes, I have asked the focal person to share some example charts.

Well, you can add the same widget multiple times, and then on initial load
just show a simple selection box. If you want to make it more fancy, you
could attach the possible images to a system settings using base64'd data
urls.
If it's worth a blueprint or not, I don't know. You can always create
Thanks Morten, will do that for now - but don't you agree it would be nice
NOT to have to create an app for every image you want to include? Would be
nice if this could be supported out of the box (perhaps through automatic
wrapping in exactly such an app?). Blueprint?

Sorry, appType=DASHBOARD_WIDGET of course

Hi Knut
It should be very easy, create a small app that display a image (maybe you
want with/height 100%), and set appType=RESOURCE, then you can add it to
the dashboard (don't need any fancy build process for that one)

Hello team,
Given the limits of the current charting solution (no selection of (the
rather dull) colors), few types of charts etc, I have a request to be able
to import charts made externally (with Excel or other tools) for display in
the dashboard.
2.23 can already display youtube videos, so wou
