I tried importing CSV again with category undeleted, and changed the
period, and values. it says 8 updated but new value is not reflected in
tables.

I deleted it because it was mentioned as non-required option. And the
system from which we would get our CSV may not have category.

Okay. Any idea why categoryoptioncombos are not there?

Hello Maimoona,
thanks for reporting. I have tried to reproduce your problem but could not.
What I did on the demo was:
- Export data in CSV format for Ngelehun 2013-02-01 -> 2013-04-01 for PHUF
2 form
- Removed the corresponding data by simply blanking out in the data entry
form
- Imported the C
Thanks Lars for the quixk feedback amd response.
Dayo 2.14 is not yet released am testing the new blue prints on the dev
server.

Hi Prosper,
yes it seems so. I can see this is a bit unfortunate given your solution.
We actually have planned a better meta-data search/filter solution for 2.15
where you can do these things like searching for data sets easily without
replicating them as data dictionaries.

Hi Dayo,
Unfortunately, it does not quite work with just the level, you also have to
specify the PARENT.

Hi Dayo,
I do not think this is a really possible to do with GML, as there are no
child-parent relationships which are imported. (Could be wrong here, but I
do not think so)
I would think you would need to
1) Import the hierarchy using DXF2
2) Import the geographical data using GML.

Dear All,
I imported GML file into DHIS2 for coordinates without having the org units
there already as they are many (775). This import was successful but I did not
find this org units under the org unit tree. I know DHIS2 allows only 1 org
unit at the level 1, so I did a meta data export of on
Hi Edwin,
there is no link between resource tables and meta-data import so I don't
think that's significant. Since the logs says surname cannot be null I
think that was the source of the problem - there might be a problem with
the export function not including surnames, or some database integrity
Hi Bob,
I will take a look at the data and see where the duplicates may be. The
data was generated using Data-Export feature in DHIS so there is certainly
a problem with this feature. When I was importing, I had selected New and
Updates. The "Updates" bit of it should have handled the duplicates.

Did you check to see that the users exists in the system? we do support

Hi Edwin
Your problem seems to be some bad/duplicate data:

Morten,
Thank you! The in-memory db was the cause of one of my problems. So Issue 1
is resolved! :)
I still cannot log in using an imported user. I suspect is it for the
reason I mentioned in my original post i.e. importation of users was
disabled?
The other remaining problem is the importation
Dear Developers,
Thanks for this functionality in 2.14. however it has replaced the drop
down list for data dictionary selection, does this mean we lost the data
dictionary option which was able to allow us display only data elements in
a given dictionary as we had arranged them by datasets?

Hi,
>From what you are saying, it sounds like all these issues are caused by
using an in-memory db.. Are you sure that you are connecting to a database,
and that the user has the proper privileges?
Try to look for dhis2 home references in the log.. it should be early in
the startup

Hi,
I have some major problems when I am trying to import meta-data and data
from one DHIS2 instance to another. These are as follows:
Issue 1:
I have a DHIS2 installation running on a VMWare Virtual Machine. Using the
Meta-Data Export/Import features in DHIS2, I have imported data from
another
Perhaps there could be some lessons learned from the work done in Tanzania
using USSD for IDSR reporting directly into DHIS2. Ismail can provide more
details on that specific solution.

Hi Randy,
I have started work on interfacing one of our DHIS2 instances with the API
of a local service provider here in Zambia which provides "talk time". As
Lars points out, we have been using a somewhat manual system before,
whereby we generated special reports on the DHIS2 server, which were

Hi,
in Zambia they have set up a partly manual system to reimburse/incentivize
reporters for the Malaria program. I guess they can give the details as
they are also on the list.
In general I can say that we don't have a USSD connection directly from
DHIS2, though we are very keen to investigate t
In Rwanda we are exploring the possibility of paying community health workers
incentive payments (PBF) via Mobile Money for effectively tracking pregnant
women using the RapidSMS system. For example those who reported an average of
