I would personally prefer having one more step before opening the
popup(context) menu.
Like on 'row mouse over' or on 'row click', a menu icon/menu title box
could appear next to the row title. Upon clicking that icon, the same menu
popup appears. Clicking anywhere else (other than the menu icon
Just had a quick play around and the new system seems far more intuitive
and less liable to making mistakes than the previous as one can click
directly on the text for the item - I regularly clicked the correct icon
in the wrong row previously.
Great stuff devs!

Hi,
yes that is possible.
- First make a "Superuser" user role with the ALL authority.
- Make sure the new user is given a user role which contain the "create new
user" authority but does NOT contain the ALL authority.
A users in DHIS can only create new users with user roles which have less

Hi there,
in next version (2.14) we plan to do some changes to the general list of
objects (data elements, indicators, programs and so on).
The idea is to replace the now impractical number of icons for each row
with a better solution.
Your challenge is to navigate to the list of data
elements
With IE10 released for Windows 7 SP1 and IE9 on Vista, we should remove support
for IE8.
For the next release I suggest mentioning support for IE10 and higher.
Vista will be ignored, but one should be able to install Chrome or Firefox
anyways...

This is funny, I have seen this a few times but not been able to reproduce
- on Ubuntu that is. What OS are you on? It might be the Windows line feed
that causes it (\r\n vs \n). Can anyone else test this on Windows and
confirm?

Morten, you are right it is W7. About the browser IE8 and Firefox 20 are
the 2 browser that weshould support, so I was checking if dhis2 works
properly for both of them. For firefox I found no issue...

Hi Marta,
What version of Windows are you on? I see from the user-agent string that
it 'Windows NT 6.1' which I assume mean W7? If you do a system upgrade, you
should have IE9 available (or even IE10?)
Are you using IE8 because you need to support it, or is it just what's
available? I would sugge

Dear Ali,
Which browser are you using? You might need to try upgrading your Browser
to the latest version and it is also recommended that you use Google Chrome
(latest) or atleast Firefox.
That might sort you out!!!

someone else might be more clever but I can't think of way to do that.
Would it instead be an option to try to make the report a bit more

Dear all,
I´m using dhis2 with IE8 (8.0.7601.17514) and it doesn't seem to be able to
load the org. unit hierarchy when I go to Data Entry. It remains loading
and show an "error" icon at the bottom of the page. I have cleared the
browser cache but nothing changes.

Hi Uddin,
sorry to say but we haven't tagged the versions of the documentation up to

A solution which requires some technical know-how is to check out the
documentation source code and build yourself. It was bumped to version 2.13
at revision 841 so checking out 840 will do:

Here is my inputs to DHIS2 may be for the future releases:
-To avoid people from may be misusing, risks of User and Passwrd caching to
their browsers memory, it can be more better if we make it optional on setting
