I just dug out my old laptop running Lubuntu, and have upgraded the
SDK to the latest version.
On this machine I can replicate the problem. Without a network
connection the SDK cannot be found. If I stick the network cable back
in, then it is found.

to give an address to the network. This usually lets me use the emulator.

Joke's aside. It's interesting to see that happen with your PC as we tried both
offline and online with the 1310 SDK package. Obiviously we did not test some
combination. Are you on WL
