Other than that, I like the idea of source git and I'm looking forward
to using it, once the synchronization issues are resolved. Thanks for
working on it.

creating tools for ourselves to make working with
patches easier? I'm currently looking into Quilt, mentioned by several
people here, to see if it could make my life easier at all. Just a
suggestion.
Thanks everyone for this enlightening thread.

Hi,
I reviewed the licensing of libevent and found the License tags to be
incorrect.
The License tag of libevent was changed from "BSD" to "BSD and ISC". The
License tag of libevent-doc was changed from "BSD" to "BSD and

FWIW, the name does matter. You'd have to ensure the name is as unlikely
to collide with whatever anyone puts there as possible. Otherwise you
could get a user file removed when the kernel is remov

Thanks.

Hi,
I'm coordinating rebuilds of packages due to the libevent rebase [1]

there a proven packager willing to help me with the rebuilds?
The rebuilds should be done using the following command:

Hi,
So all the required rebuilds for the libevent 2.1.12 rebase should be
done now in the side tag. I've tried to merge the side tag by creating
an update in Bodhi as described in [1], but Bodhi tells me 'olysonek
does not have commit access rights to ...'. So I guess I'll need proven

So this was caused by an update of fedpkg available in updates-testing. See:
https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2017-9cac2b8b4a
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1188634
Downgrading fedpkg should fix the problem.

I reviewed the licensing of i2c-tools and found the License tags to be

License tag changed from
