Hallo,
my name is Christoph Karl.
I am a long time Fedora user, but I plan to change to CentOS 8.
So I would like to see some more packages in the EPEL repo.
So I plan to help with this as a co-maintainer.
I have a little bit experience with packaging,
but I am on may way learning more.

I think Fedora now needs some kind of LTS.
At least I was planning to support CentOS via EPEL as
a kind of "Fedora LTS".

Hello everyone!
I want to un-retire the package python-pyswip.
According to "dead.package" the reason for retiring this package is/was:
"SWI Prolog (package pl) has been retired from Fedora, this package
provided Python bindings for SWI Prolog."
I checked this with Jerry James (maintainer of SW

Hello!
I have started the process to update fluidsynth to fluidsynth-2.2.1 on

Upstream has again a soname bump:

I have written and also tried to solve

I reinstalled a fresh rawhide (from

Hi!
Thank you for the clarification.
How about two different packages which do not depend on each other
having both files/directories below /xyz/?
I assume in this case co-ownership of /xyz/ should be used?
Is this rule general valid or are there exceptions?

I tried to find out which files on my upgraded fc40 installation are not

Main reasons are symlinks and directories not defined in the spec file.
A quick check shows that this is also the case with a fresh installation.
