Hi, fedora-packages is already using the appdata to get the icons of the applications. The indexing of the search database is fetching an xml file [1] that contains the appdata but I am not sure how this file is actually produced. [1] : http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/screenshots/f27/fedora
