Tablet are shown as “unavailable” in `pavucontrol`. This happens with
either KDE and Awesome WM. Booting an older kernel did not help. The
headphones work, however.

Actually there is %make_install which is recommended by the Packaging
Guidelines IIRC.

linphone sometimes hangs for me so I have to fix it by:
# rm -f /usr/bin/pulseaudio;killall pulseaudio
