I have an application I am working on that requires a config file in
the users home directory. This file is .asoundrc (alsa sound config) I
need to write a script that does 5 things.
1 ) check if the file is installed already (go to step 2 else go to
step 3)
2 ) install the file i

I tried to set the following in ~/.rpmmacros:
%__cc /path/to/compiler-gcc
and when I did rpmbuild -bc hello.spec, it shows:
$ rpmbuild --showrc | grep cc
rpmlib(ConcurrentAccess) = 4.1-1
-14: __cc/path/to/compiler-gcc
-14: __cpp gcc -E

With the 2.11 update for xorg-x11-drv-intel in updates-testing we have a
couple of serious problems occurring with gnome-shell on Intel systems:
A) A complete hang where the system can't even be pinged.
B) A problem where the system continues to run fine but the GPU gets

When user starts to use preupgrade, it downloads installer files into /boot.
Then reboot the computer and begin the upgrade process.
The method will cause a problem, if /boot does not have enough spaces,
preupgrade can not finish the upgrade.

what I have seen over time is that Fedora is changing to something that
worries me and that is getting less fun to contribute. I remember the time when
I liked to say that fedora was the "voice of the community".
