In September, Ryan expressed interest to resurrect the pdfedit package,
but I couldn't find follow-up messages nor koji builds.
I made a patch to fix the build, see
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=772534
I'll try to take ownership and get builds done.

Hi,
I have decided to take on pdfedit. I haven't found the devel email for
why it was orphaned, but I also haven't looked very hard. Someone
needs to keep this software in the repos, it may as well be me. I need
the RPM anyways.
Thanks,

Hi Joachim,
It won't be possible in the near future, because it's orphaned:

It has been orphaned

So unless someone takes over, no

Hi,
in F15 I could install pdfedit by yum. Anybody knows when this will be
possible in F16?

I intend to orphan and dead.package pdfedit. If anyone wants to take it feel
free. It has a unmaintained and buggy qt3 interface. Perhaps someday
upstream will create a new qt4 one, but I'm done holding my breath.
