Hi Maxwell & Go SIG,
we have recently started working on introducing a bundled() provides
generator for golang in openSUSE and found a very simple solution using
the output of `go version -m /path/to/binary` [1]
The solution is of course only that simple, because we build more or

Hi Maxwell,
Fedora release engineering is running a mass rebuild of rawhide on 20.6.,
if your changes are merged in rawhide/main branches by then, they will be

Hi,
Just to get people thinking before the meet…
IMHO, the core objective of the SIG should be to maintain a consistent
self-hosting up-to-date baseline of Go software in rpm form, that can
then be used to build other forms of Fedora deliverables (flatpacks,
coreos images, etc)
That implies

Hi Robert,
Maybe a document with Go packaging guidelines would be very helpful.
Also, it would be good document and maintain gofed as part of the go
packager toolkit.
I don't know if they are all already part of golang-SIG, but I'm in to
help improving the wiki pages.

Count me in for the SIG too, since I maintain ~40 golang packages.
Are there plans to create a golang-sig group too, so that group can be
granted access to golang src.fd.org repositories (like the one that
exists for ruby, for example)?

recommendations. I saw [1] but as this seems more a draft (so a WIP
