Fixed the launcher crash for me. Window repainting [1] is still an issue for
me, though, which makes it kind of unusable under wayland.

This is not expected to work on gnome x11 sessions (Xorg), according to
instructions. Works fine for me on gnome wayland sessions. Do you have a bug
report, backtrace, etc.?

No, it breaks some basic Firefox features (remote connection, OMTC, GL
acceleration) when runs under X. We need to address those first.
