Hello,
While investigating a build issue for Gnulib, I discovered a discussion [1]
on gettext upstream indicating that version 0.25 may have
undesirable side-effects on other packages: specifically calls to
autoconf/autoreconf may behave differently leading to build failures.
The problems are:

Hey all,
While packaging the new Automake, I ran into something that got me
thinking. A bug (since fixed in 1.18.1) made it try to rebuild the info
documentation from its Texinfo sources, which implied a new BuildRequires:
texinfo dependency on packages that depend on Automake.
This got me wonder
Hello,
Automake version 1.17 will land in rawhide in a short while.
Please be aware that a 18 packages that depend on automake fail to build
due to the version upgrade (they have a dependency on version 1.16). The
list of packages is available in the mass-prebuilder report below:

Hello Fedora community,
The Christmas period is coming, and soon after the Fedora mass rebuild will
come and may lead to the creation of a bunch of FTBFS bugzillas.
I'd like to share with you the availability of a tool that we started to
develop this year, which aims to help developers to assess
Hello,
I'd like to inform you that starting from
redhat-rpm-config-230-1.fc38, the "%configure" macro will check for
the availability of the "--runstatedir" option in the configure script
and make use of it if it is.

I'm actually working on a tool to help with such use cases.
It may be a bit early since I only made an internal alpha release, and only
planned to go public by the end of this month with it, but since that may
