One of my specific request therew is make sure that they link to the system
libraries instead of relying on the embedded version used e.g. for
Windows build. Very specifically make sure libxml2 etc... is not
provided by static version inside but uses the system one (so we don&
are.
If we loose twinkle we will still have those two,

Long reply but overall that look mostly fine from my

I sent a mail to this very list one week ago:

From: Daniel Veillard
To: devel@lists.fedoraproject.org
Subject: Taking ownership of libcmpiutil and libvir
pkgdb/acls/name/libvirt-cim
Note that both packages are listed as owned by "orphan" but they don't
show up in the orphan list (yet ?)

I provided a bunch of new parsing API in libxml2 precisely to avoid
the problem of global variables, but well unless I make a non-compatible
API and hence libxml3 (no target date, probably never) this problem
will stay around.

could turn xmlCleanupParser()
into an empty entry point and create a new function where the name would
make clear that this is not to be used without being careful, but
that decision would have to be discussed on the above list, not here.
