I intend to orphan mediawiki-rss this week. It has a dependency on
php-magpierss which has already been orphaned. If you have interest
or are using mediawiki-rss, I urge you to email me and we can transfer
maintainership to you. Otherwise, I will orphan this package after
8/7/2011.

I'm also an avid user of Hamster Applet and have been using it
successfully in Gnome Shell.
I suggest you launch it using 'Time Tracker' and then look at the
bottom right bar. If you have it setup to let you know an activity is
currently running, it will remind you in the bottom middle.
