Thanks for the welcome Alexander!
Vacation understandable - No hurry, no worry.
I was puzzled about the earlier message, puzzle solved.
Hopefully nothing liquid spilled.
Cheers,

Thanks for the help.
For the record, the issue was that doing a dnf update on the VM and simply
accepting everything was installing some fedora 42 packages, specifically some
GPG keys. When I ran without doing an update first, it worked.

In accordance with FESCo policy[1], the following provenpackagers will

You should install the mock-core-config and distribution-gpg-keys rpms
for the version of Fedora that is running fedpkg. If I am reading your
first post correctly, you are using an F41 vm to run "fedpkg --release
f41 mockbuild".
distribution-gpg-keys-1.105-1.fc41 should already be in stable

There was no change. Questions:
1 - I applied this to the F39 host, not the F41 VM. Was that right?
2 - The links are to .fc40. Is there a similar patch for F39?
3 - Does it make sense that an F41 build would try to load

As shared bt @music on the Fedora build system matrix channel, this
happens after a new Fedora release is branched. You can install these
two packages to update your system to work correctly.

I'm trying to build my package for Fedora 41 (an F41 VM on an F39 host if
that matters). Is it pulling in something from F42?
The error is:

Hi, since I noticed that a couple of my rawhide builds, that completed less
than an hour before f41 branching occurred, did not get tagged with f42:
today I decided to check for other such builds:
$ TZ=UTC koji-tool builds --before "2024-08-13 15:10" -p "*.fc41" -l 19 -s

Hi, Kevin.
I spotted an issue where one of my Bodhi updates for F41 got marked as
obsoleted by an F42 update
and now F42 is updated, F40 has an update in testing, whereas F41 has the old
package version.
Is is possible to re-tag the F41 build?
Obsoleted update:

Hello Joe,
Welcome to Fedora!
Given that a lot of people are currently on vacation, you might need
to be a little patient for your package review.
I'm looking forward to seeing your packages in the distribution and I
hope you'll enjoy working on Fedora and being part of the community.

Hi Neil,
just expressing a bit of gratitude for slurm getting adopted. I've had the fun of trying
to roll out long-time-since-last-packaged older HPC schedulers (son of gridengine), and,
this is cool, especially seeing that you're active in the Rocky HPC SIG. I think that

Thanks!
I've found it and added "latest"
to the list of extra repositories. Later I'll switch to side tags as
Florian suggested.

There is currently a bug in the Fedora mailman which is causing emails sent
to multiple lists to delete some copies of the emails. It is being looked
at by the upstream to figure out why and how to fix.
