Hello team,
I attempt to build MaterialX, an optional requirement for Blender 4.x but hit
an interesting issue with RPATH (partially resolved).
An example on

Hello Fedora,
I have been lurking around the mailing lists, forum, and chats. It's
time for a self introduction! My first distribution was CLE 0.9 which
was based on Red Hat 6.1. Later I have switched between many
distributions then settled on Debian and became a DD. I was interested

Dear Community!
My name is Neftalí Yagua, a Software Engineer from Venezuela since 2004,

Hi,
Unfortunately, I pushed the commit to rawhide when I just wanted just
it to my fork first and make one PR.
Anyway, lxc was ready to go and also lxc is a leaf package so the
impact should be small (otherwise it would have already reverted it).
So I triggered the build but if there is any in
Dear Community!

I'm currently maintaining curl and emacs on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
I am eager to learn from the collective wisdom of the community and

Early next week I will push Kubernetes v1.29 rpms to rawhide. There
are 2 important changes to be aware of.
First, this will replace Kubernetes v1.28 in rawhide and therefore in
Fedora 40. Future updates for Kubernetes 1.28 will be found in COPR at

I am going to orphan libdmapsharing. All dependent Fedora packages have
moved to libdmapsharing4, which represents the next API. Libdmapsharing4
links against libsoup3, but libdmapsharing does not. Libdmapsharing4 is
under active development, but libdmapsharing is not.

It looks like I should orphan sphinxbase. The upstream project indicates
pocketsphinx has subsumed sphinxbase, and it does not appear any other
Fedora packages rely on sphinxbase. I dropped pocketsphinx's dependency
on sphinxbase when I released version 5.0.0 of the package in May of 2023.

Updating to Arrow 15.0.0.
Ceph is the only consumer–AFAIK–of libarrow.
(Both ceph and libarrow failed to build in the recent mass rebuild, but
have been built since then.)
