It wasn't a formal proposal.
I don't think there was any danger of anyone possibly considering that.

I'm pretty baffled. I've successfully used runuser with F20 as the host
and F20 in the container. Something is different in rawhide. I even
tried downgrading util-linux in the container to the latest version in

container in privileged mode (--privileged=true) and that didn't change
anything. The runuser command still prints "System error" if I use it
to do anything
Rahul,
There are 2 primary trains of though for doing it this way.
1. For several reasons related to how the sosreport plugin architecture works,
processing an entire sosreport in the way it would have to be processed to do
this sort of work is problematic. Bryn and the sosreport team are wor

I'm trying to run some docker containers and it appears the runuser in
rawhide isn't functional in the container:
# runuser
runuser: System error
I can run runuser in a physical system running rawhide however. These
same images created off of F20 containers worked fine.

Hi, Everyone.
My name is Jamie Duncan. I work in the Strategic Customer team at Red Hat. One
of the big things that our more security-minded (and some of the vaguely
paranoid) users ask for is an easier way to obfuscate data in an sosreport
before they send it out to Red Hat Support.

Sorry for the late notification. I took a look at making an agenda for this
