Hi,
I have been recording using arecord and aplay this way:
arecord -D default -d 0 -f cd | aplay -f cd -D default &
The problem is that, while this works fine on rhel5, the same is no true
for Fedora 12 using pulseaudio, since I clearly hear some random noise
(specially at low volumes).

Running pdflatex, I encountered the following error on a file that I'm
sure used to compile on texlive-2007. I don't have a texlive-2007
installation available at the moment though.
Any hints what's missing? I'm using the times package, but I do have
texlive-psnfss installed.
