For the version number, I prefer to 0.12 instead of 1.0, because some
interpreters relies on external systems were not fully tested with Java 11, I

Focusing on contributing and re
Given that it is a released feature that might be adopted by some users,
deprecating it before removing is a fair decision, let me mark it deprecated in
0.12 and remove it in the next version.
