I would be willing to run such a plugin in production. Might want to have it
record incoming and outgoing separately. It might also be helpful for us to
see how many headers we are leaking...

Yeah, NTTP is still around in the code. I added a commit on the Jira ticket
about cleanup the headers and we should remove NNTP headers if they are not
being used in HTTP.
