Hi all,
I have a question about the privileges of the processes traffic_cop,
traffic_manager, and traffic_server. I started ATS with:
$ ./trafficserver start
It reported permission denied error:
$ ./trafficserver start
./trafficserver: line 186:
/path-to-ats/var/log/trafficserver/traffic_server.
Hi James,
Can you elaborate on the inconsistency problems a little bit more? To my
understanding, traffic_cop runs as root. traffic_manager and traffic_server
run as unprivileged nobody.
Thanks.

Just to throw another idea your way. We can insert another level of
indirection between URL's and objects. Every object has a unique hash.
URL's point to the hashes instead of objects. The hashes are used to look
up objects. Even if multiple URL's are duplicated and hence their hashes,
they always
Just as a side question, do we have statistics on the extent of duplication
we have on ATS cache? Say, how many URL's point to the same object on
average? It seems like a trade-off between duplication and computation
(space and time).

Hi all,
I am new to ATS and my understanding of ATS is limited. I am working on a
project to enable session resumption using session tickets. Session tickets
are encrypted with session ticket keys which need to be rotated for
security. Currently, one session ticket key file (only one key is used)
